So blogging has taken a back seat over the past few months with the holidays and busy planning! We have been having so much fun and we just had to share!
Since the beginning of the year we have gone to so many fun places! Bay State Gymnastics, Buttonwood Park Zoo and Toe Jam, New Bedford Whaling Museum, Crafts at Michael's, Healthtrax open swim, and so much more! Just imagine what we have in store for the year to come! This week we had 2 awesome playgroups!!! Monday we went to Pretty Paws Factory and Bakery, the owner is the best! Upon arriving she had a sign welcoming SCMB, then she helped us to pick up out our furry friends... After paying we were able to go next door where they set up a new area to stuff our new friends... My little ones love their new stuffed friends.... Wednesday we enjoyed South Coast Music Together with Monique. Both her and Rhonda are always amazing and made this playgroup extra special! My daughter has Monique as her music teacher in school so she was very excited to attend this one. Thank you to all that attended the playgroups this week! We look forward to seeing you all next week and if you are only able to come during vacation weeks we look forward to seeing you then! Boo at the Zoo... Airport Playground... Adagio & Michael's Crafts!!! We have been having a blast!!!11/8/2016 We are continuing to have so much fun throughout the South Coast...
Last week we finished off Halloween with a bang! We attended the craziest Boo at the Zoo EVER!!! It was so awesome though! Seeing all the kids and a lot of the parents dressed up was the best! I might have been the only one that had a child who refused to wear his costume.. But that didn't stop us from participating in the festivities! There was free carousal rides, free train rides, trick or treating stations, a parade, costume contest and more... we are counting down the days till next year! Can't wait! The Buttonwood Park Zoo outdid themselves once again... Last Wednesday was a little more low key and we enjoyed the warm sun at the Airport playground, hoping to get at least one more warm afternoon in there this year! Monday at Adagio Arts & Wellness was great! Danielle kept the little ones engaged in song and dance, learning some new Spanish words and even finishing the class with a Matisse inspired craft. Always a fun time here! And Wednesday! We dove right into making a fun Thanksgiving craft with the kids! They love getting glue all over the place and having fun creating art work with their family. Can't wait to see what next week brings us! Hope to see you there!!! The last few weeks have been for sure!
Last week we were having so much fun we forgot to blog about it! We had a blast as usual at Bay State Gymnastics during our Exclusive open gym time! Wednesday was another active day, we got to hang out with Monique from South Coast Music Together and sing and dance together... This week we enjoyed open swim at Healthtrax. The water was warm and the kids left with sleepy smiles on their face... Be sure to join us in December for our next open swim... Wednesday we went to the Children's Museum of Greater Fall River, we had so much. It was also Logan's birthday so of course we had cupcakes! There are so many creative rooms here and Joanne is terrific. Can't wait to go again in November!!! This week was another busy one! We started off on Monday at Adagio Arts and Wellness in Marion.. The parents and little ones got to sing and dance and have a great time... Wednesday we enjoyed the warm air outside at the Airport playground. This was another great one... We got to look at the planes and have fun... Thursday was a perfect Fall day for Silverbrook Farm. We had the whole place to ourselves for almost the whole time we were there. Everyone got to enjoy a tractor ride, animals, the corn maze, fresh apples and cider and everyone that came got to take home pumpkin... Can't wait to go back next year. September has come to an end! Monday we enjoyed a fun day at Buttonwood Park. Toe Jam was a blast as usual. Such a great day for the zoo! Wednesday was a perfect morning for a tractor craft at the plumb library. Plumb library is a place to play and read. Lisa is an awesome host and we also donated 1/2 the money collected to the library fund. Another fun week with South Coast Mama's & Babies. This week we started off at the Super Heroes Walk for Meeting Street. Some ran the 5k Road Race while most of us did the walk with our little ones and families. With a small donation, they gave us all commemorative t-shirts and our very own super heroes cape. The day was perfect. We all got to walk around the old forts at Fort Taber in New Bedford and enjoy the scenic views. After the race, we had some treats like bagels, blueberry bread and juice.. The kids got to watch Toe Jam and African Drummers. It was a perfect afternoon with family and friends. Monday was another perfect day! It was pouring out. Lucky for us, we got to enjoy Bays State Gymnastic Academy, Staying nice and dry, VIP Members and their little ones got in for free... This playgroup was exclusive to SCMB, so it was awesome, being able to meet new mamas, dads and family as the kids played together. I might have gotten stuck in the foam pit, and a few little ones lost their socks but that's what its all about right?! Next week is already the end of September.... I can't believe summer is actually over... This week was a great week to be outside! The cool crisp weather is upon us in the morning and by lunch time it's perfect playground weather!
Monday we went to the Buttonwood Park Zoo and went to see Toe Jam. Toe Jam was still outside. Tommy and Vinny jammed out and even took out the huge bubble wand! Watching the bubbles pop over the kids was hilarious and even more fun to was out. lol.. Some of the kids left with smiles on their faces and soap soaked hair. It was worth every second of it. Wednesday we enjoyed going to the Dartmouth Community Park on Dartmouth St. This is a great, clean park for all ages! Despite it being very warm, it was a fun few hours, some even got to go to storytime before to enjoy some reading! Back to school we go! This Monday we had the day off to celebrate Labor Day with our families as we prepare for some of our little ones to go back to school. This was bittersweet because my oldest started school and I attended my first playgroup with just 1 child. This was weird...
Wednesday we attended the Children's Art Lab in Mattapoisett! I was a blast. We had our very own SCMB Art in Motion class. Benares started the class off with some group singing and dancing and then our little ones got to paint and play. She made this play area safe and child friendly so the kids could explore and create! My favorite was the sticker wall. |
